On September 1, 2017 Miguel thought he was going to talk to one classroom of students. Instead there was so much interest in Airbus Perlan Mission II that many teachers got together to use the civic auditorium again. There were over 150 middle school students to hear Miguel speak, with Lars and Tago as support. There were lots of questions from the students, who were probably late returning to school. Miguel lost count after 70 selfies. Miguel’s nickname is Tato which he put on his helmet. Guanaco is the llama-like animal in the scrublands surrounding El Calafate. Miguel’s friends added that name to the helmet two flights ago. (I know nothing…) You can see both words on the front of Miguel’s Bonehead helmet. Perlan Soars! Perlan Se Eleva!
