The Soaring Society of America biannual convention returns in 2023! The Perlan Project will be well represented in Reno, Nevada. The convention goes from February 23 – 26. Please stop by our fabulous booth to collect some great giveaways like stickers or a 5 X 7 photo of 76,000+ feet. There will be multiple team members at our booth to answer any questions about past experiences or what it will take to make a successful trip to Argentina in July.
Our focus will be to raise funds to fully support our education outreach. We have a photo calendar with 18 airborne Perlan photos for new educational donors. We will also have a unique signed poster-sized photo suitable for framing to thank new donors of $500. Talk to our CEO Ed Warnock if you might be interested in becoming a gold or diamond level donor.
And just for fun, we have a small Perlan flight simulator where you can try your stratospheric stick and rudder skills!
It truly takes a team to shine at the SSA Convention. Linda and Ed Warnock got the 76,000+ banner on the left side of the booth. They also got the 5×7 photo cards printed. Kristina Messner got the new floor banners which we used at Oshkosh. The right side wall banner came from Bettina Nerb. Jamie Darcy took the aerial photos and created the fabulous calendars. Armistead Sapp marshalled the convention logistics. This is an all volunteer team that you can be proud to support!
