The Airbus Perlan 2 Glider First Flight Test is now scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2015 – weather permitting.

Poor weather conditions on the originally scheduled date caused the delay.  The wind was outside of the defined safety limits for conducting the First Flight Test.

The Tow-Plane and Perlan 2 are scheduled to take off at about 8:00 AM.  This is subject to change.

Viewing within the Airport perimeter is by invitation only, due to the level of security required at the Redmond Municipal Airport.

Along with all of the supporters and sponsors of the Perlan Mission II, a special thanks goes the people who are hosting the First Flight including:  The Redmond Municipal Airport, The City of Redmond and the Office of the Mayor, The Redmond Comfort Inn and Suites and the Leading Edge Jet Center at the Redmond Airport.

Thank you for all of your efforts and patience.
