Loris Gliner is an Aeronautical Engineering Student at Imperial College London. He became involved with the Perlan Project by developing the Virtual Cockpit, the website displaying the Perlan 2 glider’s position and telemetry data. As part of the team in El Calafate in 2017 Loris developed the Virtual Balloon Cockpit so the Perlan weather radiosondes could be tracked. Loris is passionate about aviation and hopes to one day contribute to the future of flight. He was able to fly a plane before he could drive and he is currently training to get his mountain rating in the French Alps, where he is originally from.
